Synopsis

Amid political chaos caused by the former emperor’s suppression of the military, the general’s son Nan Chenxiao disguises himself as a woman to stay safe, while aspiring official Rui Yu hides her identity by posing as a man. Forced into partnership through an unexpected marriage by the new emperor, the two face dangerous trials and uncover each other’s secrets to help the emperor restore stability to the realm.
